Impact of Climatic Conditions to Capacity of Airborne Ultrasonic Channel

In this paper, we estimate the upper limit of transmission data rate in airborne ultrasonic communications, under condition optimal power allocation. The presented method is based on frequency response a channel case single-path LOS propagation different climatic conditions and AWGN background noise model, it can be easily extended to frequency-dependent noise. obtained results go beyond discrete distances for which experimental SNR values were available, are more accurate than previous calculations literature, due inclusion its changes over distance. impact air temperature, relative humidity atmospheric pressure capacity also investigated. serve as reference during design communication systems operating far-field region.
